2013 demo of the song "El último cigarro", last song in the EP "música pelada".
I originally released this demo back in 2013 as part of a solo project. The idea was to compose an entire concept album based on the Salvadoran Civil War (1980-1992), but I never wrote more than two or three more songs for this concept. Eventually, Jesus and the Dinosaurs came out to the world and the concept was set aside (including the bandcamp site).
I prefer the performance of this version compared to the one that ended up in the EP, so here it is. During all this time, I had kept the song unreleased (until it was re-recorded for the EP) due to a mistake in the lyrics (choice of words at the end of the first verse), but it's been 5 years, and if this demo is not released, it will never be heard again. Maybe this will be a new beginning for the original concept album, who knows...

This is not, by any means, an attempt to benefit from, desecrate, mock or otherwise disrespect the victims of the that took place during the civil war (which my parents and greater family suffered, and still suffer from). Que en paz descansen.
